We're Making a List...

Merry Christmas! Here's hoping that Santa was good to you and yours this holiday season. A New Year is just ahead and it looks to be an exciting one. With our Ground Breaking on December 10th, we're anticipating beginning work on the building by the first week of January. Of course, that's several months later than our budget expected and the additional expense of working through the winter months has caused us to look at things we may not be able to purchase, at least right away. These could include:

Ceiling fans for the taller areas;
After Hours Reserve Lockers;
Fireplace for Casual Reading;
And others.

YOU CAN HELP! 2011 is the last year that Michigan is giving a Tax Credit for donations to Libraries so this is your chance to help the Library and give yourself a break. Donations can be made by mail to: PCPL, 350 Mower Rd, Pinckney, MI 48169, in person during Library Hours or by Paypal:

A GREAT BIG THANKS for all your support during this project (and beyond). Have a Merry Christmas and a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!

Ground Breaking Ceremony for new Library takes place!

Our thanks to all who attended the VERY chilly Ground Breaking Ceremony on Sat. December 10, 2011. We were thrilled at the turnout and really appreciate the show of support from the community. It will be a couple of weeks more before visible progress is made but rest assured that we are busy "behind the scenes" getting the project physically underway.
